Boku is a truly global company that takes pride in its diversity and thriving equal opportunity workplace.</p></div><p>We are looking for an experienced platform engineer to work with our Platform team to develop, implement, optimize, and maintain our cloud-based solutions. You will be responsible for provisioning, debugging and optimising cloud infrastructure, educating teams on new cloud initiatives, and ensuring the security of the cloud infrastructure.</p> <p><strong> RESPONSIBILITIES :</strong></p> <ul> <li>Create, maintain, and improve the core “Infrastructure As Code” that supports Boku systems</li> <li>Design, develop, and deploy cloud security solutions and Boku systems such as:</li> <ul> <li>Encryption and key management</li> <li>SSL certificate management</li> <li>Patch management</li> </ul> <li>Build security automation for cloud environments, including testing, scanning, and analysis of vulnerabilities</li> <li>Investigate and introduce new tools for improving the application's performance, deployment performance, and security of the deployed stack</li> <li>Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements</li> <li>Provide documentation for running and operating Boku systems</li> <li>Work with Boku internal teams (Data, IT, and Engineering) to design practical solutions to secure their workloads</li> <li>Educate teams and individuals on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <ul> <ul> <li>Education:</li> <ul> <li>bachelor's degree in computer science, security or equivalent</li> </ul> <li>Professional experience: </li> <ul> <li>3+ years in security engineering, Infrastructure engineering, and security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability management tools</li> <li>Experience with implementing security standards like OWASP, CIS, STIG, and NIST RMF</li> <li>Experience securing production environments hosted in Cloud (AWS) with access to sensitive and confidential customer data</li> <li>Experience working within container orchestration solutions such as Kubernetes or Docker</li> <li>Experience managing, analyzing, and troubleshooting highly available and distributed systems</li> <li>Experience with deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management using tools like Jenkins, Puppet, or Ansible</li> <li>Experience with Terraform, Helm, Prometheus, and FluxCD</li> <li>Hands-on experience with AWS and AWS security best practices</li> <li>An understanding of secure networking principles</li> <li>Proficiency in a language such as Bash, Python, Java, or similar</li> <li>Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks</li> </ul> </ul> </ul>
