Boku is a truly global company that takes pride in its diversity and thriving equal opportunity workplace.</p></div><p><strong>BOKU Director – Strategic Accounts North America</strong></p> <p><strong>San Francisco, CA</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>The Director of Strategic Accounts North America is a highly visible position that will help define and execute the payments strategy for Boku in the region and influence the global payments business.  This person will be the key commercial interface for existing partners, which include – Google, Netflix, Facebook, Microsoft.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop, manage and execute the sales pipeline from existing customers.</li> <li>Act as the ‘partners’ champion’ within the organisation, and Boku’s ambassador to partners.</li> <li>Become key ‘problem solver’ for partners in any matters related to Local Payments, Settlement, Bundling, or Customer Success.</li> <li>Support US based commercial team, ensuring objectives are exceeded.</li> <li>Work with senior management across the world to develop Payment strategies for our partners that drive revenue growth, acquisition, and conversion by ensuring their customers have access to the high-quality local payments they prefer.</li> <li>Work with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing, customer success) to identify and win new business from existing customers.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>You are an experienced self-starter with a customer-centric focus, an analytical mindset, and attention to detail.</li> <li>You have an understanding of what customers require, when the customer may not fully understand their own needs.</li> <li>You possess good judgement and make effective decisions at the appropriate speed.</li> <li>You are used to working in cross-functional teams, with an ability to deliver commercially successful products and services that wow customers.</li> <li>You thrive working in a dynamic, fast-moving startup environment. </li> <li>You deal well with ambiguity and respond flexibly to change.</li> <li>You are a strong, innovative leader who can prioritize well and communicate effectively.</li> <li>You are able to manage without relying on authority and convince colleagues and partners of your plan through its merits.</li> <li>You are able to manage cross-functional teams by empowering and supporting decision-making at the periphery yet retaining ownership for delivery.</li> <li>You have strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to gather insights from data instead of just regurgitating it.</li> <li>You are comfortable getting your hands dirty in day-to-day tasks to get things done.
