This is not only a highly externally focused role, but also one that is pivotal to internal teams serving as the payment solution expert for the markets covered. If you thrive in a fast-paced, constantly challenging environment, we’d love to talk with you.</p> <p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p> <p>The <strong>Senior Technical Project Manager</strong> owns the technical and operational relationship with carrier partners and local payments providers and leads the technical scoping and integration of their payment solutions into our Payments platform. You will work with these external partners to assess their technical capabilities for a host of portfolios of products and manage the technical integration projects with limited resources and tight timelines. You will collaborate closely with Business Development, Product Management, Engineering, Program Management, and Support Operations in the process.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The top priority for this role is iteration, making the company’s portfolio of better through internal and carrier partnerships.</li> <li>Become a subject matter expert in Boku’s payments products and solutions</li> <li>Lead a technical discussion with Payments partners to conduct gap analysis and drive solution design based on business and technical requirements</li> <li>Manage integration projects through its complete lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, launch, post-launch support, and end-of-life support, with quality and efficiency</li> <li>Lead project planning effort in defining project scope, plan, tasks and schedules required for integration</li> <li>Manage timely communication of project status, issues, risks and changes with internal teams and external partners</li> <li>Effectively address project requirement changes and delivery expectation while reducing scope creep</li> <li>Provide regular project status updates and action items list while working to remove blockers and keep project on track</li> <li>Troubleshoot technical issues by reviewing API logs and other diagnostic tools with/without Engineering team’s assistance, and analyze the performance of integrated solutions</li> <li>Drive technical issues to resolution with urgency while serving as the point of contact for escalated issues from Support Operations</li> <li>Handle multiple projects and issues simultaneously, as well as difficult situations, effectively and with composure while maintaining a positive attitude</li> <li>Maintain professional and jovial relationships with partners and customers</li> <li>Is not afraid to lead and negotiate whenever needed</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field</li> <li>You have 8-15 years of work experience in technical project management at a mobile, payments or fintech company</li> <li>You have proven track record in delivering payments integration projects throughout its lifecycle</li> <li>You are a strong and effective project leader who is comfortable managing ambiguity and changing deadlines while keeping focused on delivering results</li> <li>You have excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences</li> <li>You are skilled in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with partners</li> <li>You have solid technical understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies</li> <li>You have practical experience with REST and JSON and have a good understanding of API architecture</li> <li>You have a solid foundational understanding of computer systems, the internet, internet security, web applications, APIs, and mobile devices</li> <li>You can diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, apply critical thinking, inductive and deductive reasoning, and propose options and solutions to resolve problems</li> <li>You can statistically analyze data to identify problems and trends</li> <li>You have strong problem-solving skills and a strong bias for action</li> <li>You thrive in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment</li> <li>You have a drive to improve processes and ability to identify inefficiencies</li> <li>You are excellent with time management and multi-tasking</li> <li>You can work efficiently and flexibly cross time zones with partners and internal teams</li> <li>Language requirements: Business English and Spanish written and spoken.</li> </ul> <p><strong>SALARY</strong> <br><br>Please note: This is an exempt position. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. <br>Base salary: 130k - 170k Annually<br><br><br></p> <p><strong><em>*** This is a REMOTE opportunity but you will have to reside in one of the following states: VA, TX, FL or CO.
