Boku is a truly global company that takes pride in its diversity and thriving equal opportunity workplace.</p></div><p><strong>SUMMARY:</strong></p> <ol> <li>This is a highly visible position that will define, execute and operate the payment strategy for Boku in KSA, UAE and Turkey</li> <li>You will be the key commercial interface and responsible to identify, engage, develop, on-board and manage new and existing partners, which include <ol> <li>Account to Account</li> <li>Mobile Network Operators</li> <li>Digital Wallets</li> <li>Payment service providers (PSPs)</li> <li>Merchants</li> </ol> </li> <li>You will also be supporting global account management to engage & and expand our business with key strategic merchants where required.</li> </ol> <p><strong>Coverage:    </strong>KSA, UAE and Turkey (may be required to cover other countries on project-basis)<strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>      DUTIES & RESPONSBILITES:</strong></p> <ol> <li><strong> </strong><strong>Business Development & Partners Management</strong></li> <li>Understand the payments business in MENA market is general and KSA. UAE and Turkey in specfic to identity, qualify, develop, manage and execute the Supply pipeline for Mobile Payment (i.e. Digital Wallets, Account to Account Payment, Direct Debit …etc.)</li> <li>Engage with central banks, settlement partners, banks and/or fintech partners to ensure executing boku expansion strategy</li> <li>Support smooth & efficient partners on-boarding & service launch, ensuring full compliance to Boku’s business ethics, audit, and regulatory guidelines.</li> <li>Negotiate with partners to optimise conversion, improve pricing & marketing support and manage operational contract addendum, invoice & settlement issues</li> <li>Establish and manage strong relationships & rapport with key decision makers in carriers/Digital Wallets/PSPs/Banks/merchants</li> <li>Become key ‘problem solver’ for partners in any matters related to Mobile Payments</li> <li><strong> </strong><strong>Interact and communication:</strong></li> <li>Working closely with MEA management to develop the Payment strategy; ensure alignment on commercial strategies and business objectives.</li> <li>Working closely with internal stakeholders (i.e. Product, Project, Legal, Finance, Sales, Account Management etc) to finalize commercial, close contracts & complete technical integration with Mobile Payment partners (i.e. carriers/eWallet/PSPs/merchants)</li> <li>Act as the ‘partners’ champion’ within the organisation, and Boku’s ambassador to partners.</li> </ol> <p><strong>QUALIFICATION:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A university degree/diploma in any discipline; preferably in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing</li> <li>At least 10 years of experience working in a combination of business development, project management, marketing or product development within payment field.</li> <li>5 years of experience working closely with regulatory bodies, central banks and banks within the region</li> <li>Telecom background will be a plus</li> <li>Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and Arabic.</li> </ul> <p><strong>TRAITS:</strong></p> <ol> <li>You are used to working in cross-functional teams, with an ability to deliver commercially successful products and services that wow customers.</li> <li>You possess good judgement and make effective decisions at the appropriate speed.</li> <li>You thrive working in a dynamic, fast-moving startup environment.</li> <li>You deal well with ambiguity and respond flexibly to change.</li> <li>You are a strong, innovative leader who can prioritize well and communicate effectively.</li> <li>You are able to manage without relying on authority, convince colleagues and partners of your plan through its merits, work effectively with all stakeholders & retain ownership for the delivery.</li> <li>You have strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to gather insights from data instead of just regurgitating it.</li> <li>You are comfortable getting your hands dirty in day-to-day tasks to get things done.
