Boku is a truly global company that takes pride in its diversity and thriving equal opportunity workplace.</p></div><p><strong> </strong><strong>About the Role:</strong></p> <p>Support the Group Accounting Team in the preparation of the monthly, half yearly and yearly accounts for the Ireland subsidiary for the management team.</p> <p><strong>Key tasks:   </strong></p> <ol> <li>Preparation of segregation reports for Client bank accounts for the Irish subsidiary.</li> <li>Reconciliation of all bank accounts and customer and merchant general ledger accounts daily.</li> <li>Maintenance of Boku IE accounting records and production of trial balance/ draft accounts for review</li> <li>Preparing all accounting entries for bank receipts and payments</li> <li>Assist with the month end reporting process, with specific responsibility for the Irish subsidiaries.</li> <li>Maintain and analyse monthly prepayment and accrual schedules</li> <li>Intercompany postings and reconciliations</li> <li>Calculate balance sheet revaluations and support the Group monthly reconciliation process for management review</li> <li>Prepare schedules and support the group team for the half year and year end audit</li> <li>Post monthly payroll entries, and maintain payroll tax schedules</li> <li>Support the Group Controller and Head of Finance with ad hoc projects and ongoing improvements in the control and reporting processes.</li> <li>Ad hoc general ledger postings and account maintenance where required</li> </ol> <p><strong>About you:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ideally the individual will already have joined an accounting institute and be in final stages of their exams</li> <li>Experience of working in a Finance environment</li> <li>Strong attention to detail</li> <li>Strong excel skills and experience of accounting systems</li> <li>Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge and add value</li> <li>Proactive individual able to work as part of a team or on their own</li> <li>Ability to deliver to tight deadlines, prioritising and managing workload</li> <li>A strong team player accustomed to operating in a professional but friendly environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p>Strong academic background, including a university degree (preferably in a business/accountancy related subject) with a final 2:1 grade or above</p>
